How do you recognize a real Atoma notebook?
Because Atoma did not extend its patent, the Atoma system is no longer protected. There are now some competitors offering similar products.
For the true Atoma connoisseurs there are some differences between "The Original" and imitation notebooks that immediately stand out:
- Atoma always uses high quality 90-gram long fiber paper. It is extra white and offers extra strength through the long fibers. This strength is useful so that the paper hooks well behind the rings.
- The A4 Atoma notebook counts eleven rings while most imitation A4 systems count twelve.
- And of course you can also recognize the Atoma notebook by the Atoma symbol. Depending on the material on which it is printed this symbol is either shown with or without the page fan. Below are two versions of the Atoma logo:
